Other the last few weeks I have been thinking there's a gap in the market for a lively web-site, where knowledgable, friendly and enthusiastic people could gather to share their thoughts on pulp horror. The kind of place where you can log on at any time and uncover all sorts of gems. Maybe one day it could even boast its own off-shoot in the form of a fiction anthology mag...
Well, seeing as someone's beat me to that, I thought I'd chuck up a couple of pages with an on-line shop designed to sell the mag. In this day and age it seems a bit too retro, even for a mag about 70s pulps, not to have its own internet presence.
Of course it has a link to the mighty Vault!
Non broadband users be warned, some of the scans are big in terms of data (the way I've saved them, someone please help!) and can be a wee slow in loading on dial-up.
Anyway, Happy New Year to everybody on the site. Thanks for all of your patience and support when I've kidnapped this blog to promote my latest projects, and thanks for always putting a smile on my face when I log on. Particularly due to the sudden injection of flirtatitious behaviour from the boys now some girls have joined us...

"flirtatitious behaviour"? Haven't you noticed how shy and bashful they've all gone? Even i've been practicing my nicest smile and splashing on some Hai-Karate. Also, I've been trying to decide who to blame when the girls discover the Phwoar! thread. Someone who hasn't logged in for a while ... Now, the Paperback Fanatic site. Long overdue! It's great that you use the sample pages (as mentioned, I think they say more than any review can) but you're right, for us dial-up dinosaurs, they don't finish loading before our connection gives up the ghost. My suggestion would be to resize the scans by about 50%: they'll still be legible but they won't take so long to load. If you've not got the software to do it, you can download the excellent free image editor Irfanview: www.irfanview.net/ Failing that, run them at their original size over 2 or 3 pages. Thanks for your friendship, support and encouragement throughout 2007, Justin. You didn't 'kidnap' Vault, by the way. Oh no, my friend .... it's the other way around ;D
