This is the last one in my collection.
No.6 was published by Doubleday in 1983 in hardcover, this paperback is from November 1986, and according to the fine print it was reprinted in the same month. Which data I kind find somehow dubious, but who knows. I say dubious because they screwed up in 5, where the first edition was in February ´86 and the second edition in January ´86. An obvious typo, but at least the copyright page should be edited with a fine comb.
Compared with - say, Karl Wagner - I find Grant´s introductions a bit on the slight side. Not much information. On the other hand, he sure did publish a lot of nobodys at the time. I had to grin when I read the intro to Straczynski. "He lives and works in California". That´s it. Of course this was written some years before he began working for television. I wonder how many of his fans really know that he started as a horror-writer.
