Horvitz - The Appearances of Georgio Wayne Wightman - The Touch Marc Laidlaw - Sneakers Jack Dann - Reunion Joe R. Lansdale - By the Hair of the Head Elisabeth Erica Burden - Dreams Steve Rasnic Tem - Crutches Pat Cadigan - Eenie, Meenie, Ipsateenie Peter D. Pautz - Cold Heart Jesse Osburn - Peppermint Kisses J. Michael Straczynski - A Last Testament for Nick and the Trooper Melissa Mia Hall - Mariana Al Sarrantonio - The Man with Legs Leigh Kennedy - The Silent Cradle David Morell - But at My Back I Always HearThis is the last one in my collection. No.6 was published by Doubleday in 1983 in hardcover, this paperback is from November 1986, and according to the fine print it was reprinted in the same month. Which data I kind find somehow dubious, but who knows. I say dubious because they screwed up in 5, where the first edition was in February ´86 and the second edition in January ´86. An obvious typo, but at least the copyright page should be edited with a fine comb. Compared with - say, Karl Wagner - I find Grant´s introductions a bit on the slight side. Not much information. On the other hand, he sure did publish a lot of nobodys at the time. I had to grin when I read the intro to Straczynski. "He lives and works in California". That´s it. Of course this was written some years before he began working for television. I wonder how many of his fans really know that he started as a horror-writer.
