Congratulations to Carole 'Carla Calamity' Bohanon, founder and former leader of the Vampyre Society who has gone from The Batcave to the grave to living in a cave after beating 300 fellow scarys to fill the vacancy of resident witch of Wookey Hole Caves!

We went there the other year. Nice area. What a job though!

There was a great interview with her on the BBC site yesterday. She was cackling and being all witchy when the interviewer said: "If you could come out of character for a bit." She stood a little straighter, smiled, and then started speaking...... and she was exactly the same as when she was IN character. Hilarious!
Good luck to the witchy lady.

She looks like the kind of witch I approve of ;D
I suppose she must be a wicked witch, given her previous job as an estate agent. This definitely constitutes career progress.

delightful surprise to find Ms Calamity left a message on Nasty Nels assuring me that not only do girls read that stuff but she has some copies to flog. said paperbacks don't seem to have gone online at her shop yet, but take a look around vampalicious - "a vintage clothing, books and comic shop featuring a mixed selection of unique styles, it's a bit Glam-Goth, Burlesque, Horror, Femme Fatale, Vintage, Steampunk, and Rock n Roll." - there's many a big treat to be had from the books & mag pages and no mistake.
