I have only seen a small number of B&W Avengers' episodes, all of them starring Honor Blackman. Of the colour episodes, in general I prefer the Emma Peels to those with Tara King, though I do still enjoy watching them. Several members have commented that the series perhaps became a little too self-knowing, to which I agree. I saw the entire run of The New Avengers when it was first transmitted. Of course, Patrick Macnee was getting a little too old to do the physical stuff he did a decade before, hence the introduction of the Gambit character to partner Purdey I suppose. There was still some good banter between the three main characters, but the wilder aspects of the original series were toned down for The New Avengers. It seemed to be more "mainstream" than the original, with quite a few episodes dealing with threats from various East European spies, though it did have its moments. I like the episode Last of the Cybernauts in particular. I would have loved one of those full-size cardboard cut-outs of Purdey that the villain had in that one :-).
Just looking at the list of films that C4 included in their Worst of Hollywood series, I can see that they are the usual ones that are touted as worst-of-the-worst e.g. Robot Monster, Plan Nine from Outer Space, Santa Claus conquers the Martians etc. Speaking personally, I would prefer to sit through one of these any time rather than a lot of the so-called blockbusters produced today ( yes, Twilight saga, I'm looking at you).

True Entertainment (Freeview Channel 61) seems to be showing THE AVENGERS on a loop. Last night at 8.00, it transmitted Diana Rigg's first-filmed Mrs Peel episode "The Town of No Return" by Brian Clemens a second time.

I'm enjoying catching up with all the Avengers episodes that I missed. Admittedly, I've missed a bunch this time round as well but True Entertainment seem intent on repeating them for all eternity so I should eventually see all of them.
