I haven't read any of the Buffy novels, but I've been enjoying the omnibus editions of the comics. One nice thing is that it was hard for them to use the supporting characters because of how quickly they changed, so you get much more of Buffy, Giles, Willow and Xander interacting than you did on TV.

I am one of those who think that the last two seasons of Buffy missed the tight writing it used to have, after Whedon concentrated on other projects, and a lot of the ideas just didn´t work for me.I haven't seen those seasons ( having just come on with series 4 ) but it was Whedon's Dollhouse that persuaded me to give Buffy another shot. I'm glad I did because series 4 sees the characters at college rather than high school and seems that much more adult in themes. That said the series has great monsters - the Gentlemen were BRILLIANT. Also Faith ( Eliza Dushku from DOLLHOUSE) turns up this week and she's a real doll! KC

oh yeah, and also found this: it's the biggest pile of shite ever, but quite sweet in a demented granny kind of way, which she certainly was!
