One of those rare GNS novels...Deadbeat...is going to get an extremely limited printing in its original form before it gets rewritten and becomes PULSE. Thanks to Rakie Keig, Carol and Dan Windley I have the text all beautifully written up and almost ready for the printers. It will be announced on the GNS website next week. 50 copies only. And it won't fall apart in your hand either.

I think the bloke could have taken better care of his teeth. Cover looks great, I particularly like the size and lettering style of Guy's name at the bottom. It kinda leaps out at you and says... This is a book by Guy N. Smith...it's almost like it has a huge exclamation point at the end, which of course it does not...but seems to make a statement to that effect. Nice contrast in the general colouring/background also. You're doing Guy proud. (seems odd not to have a crab crawling out an eye socket though. ) Whenever I think of Guy I always imagine he's walking along a beach, in a pair of rubber boots, with small crabs scuttling out of the way. Cheers: Jaq.
