haha, thanks for this mate! I had these when I was a kid and I've never forgotten them. 'Fear Factor', 'Horror Rating' etc. Probably worth a few bob now like.

I bought both packs through Ebay several years ago for about £50 the pair.
They bring back great memories.

Wow I had both packs of these as a kid and spent many a happy hour playing with them. Bought from the newsagents opposite the stop where I got the bus home from school. Had forgotten they ever existed until clicking on this thread. I always did wonder what a sea devil out of Dr Who was doing in a Venusian Death Cell. But this did not detract at all from the fun! Thinking about it I reckon they came out circa 1979.

Wow, yeah, these seem familiar. Interesting to try to figure out the inspirational Cinematic sources....
Ape Man: Not sure, maybe Trog? Cannibal: ? Circus of Death: ? Dracula: Christopher Lee/Hammer The Executioner: ? The Freak: The Reptile/Hammer Fu Manchu: Boris Karloff/Universal Gargantuan: ? Looks like the monster from MGM's It! The Terror from Beyond Space The Ghoul: ? Damn.... I recognize it, but can't remember the movie title. Godzilla: Godzilla The Gorgon: ? Granite Man: ? The Hangman: Obviously Lon Chaney in Phantom of the Opera - the picture on the left is from Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter Headhunter ? Incredible Shrinking Man: Incredible Shrinking Man King Kong: King Kong (though it should have been a woman in the hand) Lord of Death: Lon Chaney/Phantom of the Opera The Mad Axeman: ? Man Eating Plant: I Married a Monster from Outer Space Phantom of the Opera: Vincent Price/Dr. Phibes (weird!) Prince of Darkness: Onibaba The Risen Dead: ? Skeleton: ? The Sorceress: ? The Thing: ? Two Headed Monster: ? But I know it, can't bring it to mind... The Vampire Bat: ? Werewolf: ? Zetan Lord: ?
I know 10 of the second set.
Anyone want to have a go with that?

1st pack:
The Madman: deformed islander from Doomwatch (the movie rather than the TV series) Two Headed Monster: a prototype from The Thing With Two Heads (a crap MGM production from 1972 where Ray Milland later gets his head transplanted onto a black guy)
2nd pack:
Alien Creature: a Morlock from The Time Machine (the 1960 George Pal movie) The Beast: I have a feeling this is from an adaptation of Pickman's Model. But I can't come up with anything specific. Colossus: from Colossus of New York, a 1958 B-movie Creature from the Black Lagoon: himself Creature from Outer Space: alien from This Island Earth Fire Demon: from Dr Who story The Daemon Frankenstein: a scene from Bride of Frankenstein The Jailer: loosely based on Dwight Frye as Fritz in the 1932 Frankenstein Living Gargoyle: another Dr. Who creature, but damned if I know what it is...EDIT: Is it hell. It's Gigan, a mechanical monster who scraps with Godzilla in various Toho giant monster flicks.
Several others are torturing me but I can't quite get them...

Couple of others I tracked down. "The Cannibal" is based on a robot from 1939 serial picture The Phantom Creeps: and "The Fiend" comes from 1959 swords-and-sandals flick Goliath and the Barbarians: Canny!

'Werewolf' is taken from a promo shot for 'I Was a Teenage Werewolf' ; 'Skeleton' bears strong similarities to those out of 'Jason and the Argonauts' and Cyclops like the one in a 70s Sinbad film - both Ray Harryhausen Attachments:
