Not sure if the Casca, Eternal Mercenary series fits in here, but here goes....
Anyone know who wrote the series. Rumours abound that Barry 'Ballad of the Green Beret' Sadler penned the first two then out-sourced the next twenty to ghost-writers. But I'll be damned if I can identify who the ghost-writers are? Again rumours are that Ken Bulmer wrote a couple but I'm having trouble verifying that at the moment.
Any thoughts/insights?

THE OFFICIAL CASCA WEBSITE This website is dedicated to the character created by the late author Barry Sadler. Casca Rufio Longinus is an ex-Roman legionary who was cursed to live forever by Jesus at the Crucifixion, and has ever since passed through time fighting wars, unable to die. Another author, Paul Dengelegi, took up the reins and continued the epic tales in two more novels in 1999 and 2001. I was then asked to continue the series which was re-launched in 2006. In June 2008 the 27th book in the series, The Confederate, was released. Please feel free to visit all of this website at your leisure.
