I'll definitely be there again for this one.
Are we going along to that pub again afterwards?

Thanks to Mr Allthingshorror I shall be coming to this, or at least the first hour or so. Then, Stewart McAlpine-like, I have to bugger off to an Indian religious festival.

It's not looking too good for me this time which will doubtless be a relief to anyone who's had the misfortune of encountering my corpse at previous events.

Boo - we'll have to take over a church fete some day and hold it in your honour. Anything you want me to keep an eye out for you Dem?

It's nearly upon us so i thought it best to give the thread a bump. Although some of you have met, for the first-timers it's best to settle on a time to meet up outside the door where the fair is being held. Last year we settled on 2pm, but if John is gonna have to leave early, it might be better for midday? Also, watch out for the bogus version of pulphack we encountered at last year's fair! The real one does not have short spiky white hair and most likely isn't delivering a trunk-load of books to Hull. Andy - I swear I saw him yesterday hanging around the underground car-park at Watney Market!

I'm still on for this; I'm at the fag-end of a nasty cold that turned into a mucus lung ridden nightmare, but I'm confident that by Sunday, after a week of misery, it should be pretty much cleared up. Doubtless some medicinal ale will help.
Actually, I'm dying to get out of the house !

Wish I could go but I have a previous engagement watching my beloved Spurs lose in Stoke. Darn....

Hope you and Spurs make a swift recovery, Matt. My beloved Palace will doubtless do what they usually do in a season; a prolonged run of fine results ending in Mark S.

I have to go for a train at ^45 am on a fecking Sunday, but I'll be there as soon as they throw the doors open. Bringing my mate who wouldn't know a pulp book if it hit him in the nads - so it should be fun!

Tsk .. "man-flu" indeed! You fellas need to be a bit tougher - like us ladies! PS: Don't mind me, I'm just jealous 'cos I'm not going to the fair! PPS: Have a great time all those of you who are going anyway. ;D

To all who are going to the fair, have a great time... ...sounds like it will be fun. I should be popping up to Manchester to hopefully spend a day at the Festival of Fantastic Films, so I can't complain too much
