Dunno if this is the right place for this post, so feel free to move or delete it without concerns over hurting my feelings. It's a collection of 38 five hundred word flashes by various authors, including Nancy Kilpatrick, Michael Laimo, Nate Southard, Jeff Strand, Tim Waggoner. (and me) It's called 'Bits of the Dead'. www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1897217811/themaniworlof-20Thought I'd better do my bit to promote the thing. After all, I'm looking forward to seeing my contributer's copy, and they've already paid me for my story, so it only seems fair to put the word out.

Thanks for the congrats, David. It was my first pro rate sale, which didn't amount to a lot of dosh, but that's not always the point, is it? I'm very happy to get one of my stories into a book with so many rising stars of the genre. I reckon it'll be a good read.
BTW, I could be wrong, but I vaguely remember something about the cover artist doing some illustrations for the stories as well. I hope he's done mine.

Well done on getting in this book, Ed.
I must have had six or seven pieces rejected before I decided flash fiction probably isn't my forte.
Congratulations.
