I am urgently after a copy of The Projected Man (1967 dir by Ian Curteis) - either on video or DVD (any region) to borrow for a short while as I am hopefully going to be interviewing Mary Peach in the near future.
Can anyone help?
cheers
Johnny

Cheers Ade - but I'm utterly utterly skint until the end of the month!!! I could dance sexily for someone - if they'll put a tenner down my knickers....

Caroline...then we just start a troupe!!! The mind boggles at the thought of me trying to sing and dance sexily - let alone with a young man like you!

Watch these older women Johnnie - they know all the tricks. You'll soon be singing and dancing and forking out for expensive meals too.

I am urgently after a copy of The Projected Man (1967 dir by Ian Curteis) - either on video or DVD (any region) to borrow for a short while as I am hopefully going to be interviewing Mary Peach in the near future. Can anyone help? I don't have a copy, but the trailer is online here. I think I have an old copy of Famous Monsters of Filmland which shows the unfortunate projected bloke of the title carrying a girl dressed only in her undies through a blazing laboratory. 'Unfortunate' because, after being projected, the chap has been turned inside-out and now has an extremely weird-looking face. I read at this Wikipedia page: The Projected Man is a 1967 British science fiction film made by Protelco, starring Mary Peach, Bryant Haliday, Norman Wooland and Ronald Allen. It was released in the United States by Universal Studios, as a double bill with Island of Terror. The plot revolves around a scientist, Dr. Paul Steiner, experimenting with matter teleportation by means of a laser device. It was parodied in an episode of Mystery Science Theatre 3000 during season 9. Cast: Bryant Haliday as Dr. Paul Steiner Mary Peach as Dr. Patricia Hill Norman Wooland as Dr. Blanchard Ronald Allen as Dr. Chris Mitchel Derek Farr as Inspector Davis Tracey Crisp as Sheila Anderson Derrick De Marney as Latham Gerard Heinz as Dr. Lembach Sam Kydd as Harry Slinger Terry Scully as Steve Lowe Norma West as Gloria King Frank Gatliffas Dr. Wilson John Watson as Sergeant Martin Further details from IMDb: Directed by Ian Curteis John Croydon (co-director) (uncredited) Writing credits John Croydon (screenplay) (as John C. Cooper) and Peter Bryan (screenplay) Frank Quattrocchi (story) The film is discussed at this forum. Just found a bigger slice of it at YouTubeedit:Apologies - this is the Mystery Science Theater spoof, mentioned above. This last link probably won't help, but it does seem essential: Filmed in Glorious Black and Slightly Less BlackPossibly some grainy scans might follow, if I can find the things.
