I left at the back of ten as I had a really long day ahead of me, so have no idea if the crushed velvet one arrived or not! Next time John! I did meet Mark Samuels, lovely chap and would love to talk to him more than the thirty seconds worth I did on the night, Tony Richards - PBoH author, Les Edwards - amazing artist, Stephen Jones who introduced me to a few people as 'a new discovery' which made me feel like the sexy bone of a long lost dinosaur, and Doug Bradley who played Pinhead. Pics of me with Doug, Les and Stephen are on my allthingshorror site. And if you go here and scroll down to the bottom of the page - you will see what I picked up for the princely sum of £25 but worth every fecking penny. Mint condition my friends. Not even been read once.... www.panbookofhorrorstories.co.uk/#/book1/4528904222

Sounds great, Johnny. Sometimes, I'm envious that I don't live closer to London (but most of the time, I'm not! ). No, Dem, you don't have to be a BFS member to go to these open evenings. Someone might try to persuade you to join while you're there, but you don't have to. I'm still waiting for another York one to be announced. When I last heard, they were going to arrange one for June - but nothing has been mentioned since and it's now June ...

Sorry all - I didn't make it as I was busy being best mannish.
The reception was in the Faculty of Terror itself - the crypt at Lincoln's Inn.

The reception was in the Faculty of Terror itself - the crypt at Lincoln's Inn. We read about it - you live it! Glad you had a good time Johnny. And John.
