I have recently bought the www.panbookofhorrorstories.co.uk domain name and have opened the gmail account panbookofhorrorstories@gmail.com and will be building a new site from the ground up. Now I'm aware that there are already a couple of great sites out there which list all the authors and their stories, plus covers etc. And also there is the amazing section on the Pan Books here which has really impressed me with the love and dedication shown. I will be aiming to do the same, but will additional synopsis of all of the stories from the 30 books (this site gave me the idea - sorry for nicking it!) and hopefully in time have people send in reviews of their favourite stories etc. Hopefully this site will also become a sounding board for those who have written for PBoH in the past and would like to get in touch with me to help me with my ongoing research. It's no secret that I'm writing what will hopefully become the most comprehensive guide to the series. I'm currently in contact with 25 authors so far and have amassed a huge amount of interviews, documents and photos which will slowly be shaped into a book. None of that stuff will be used on the site apart from a few teasers as you can well understand. It wouldn't be fair to the authors involved already to have their time so easily lifted and used in other websites. Once there is a viable product at the end of the research -I will be a little more lax with what is addded here. I would love this site to be as organic as they come with contributions from everyone - escpecially here. I truly feel at home here and think that with a little bit of cross partnership both sides could benefit. The site should be live in the next few days, maybe sooner and will be emptier than a veritable ghost town!! warmest johnny

That sounds brilliant, Johnny. Good luck with the venture. I, for one, will be looking forward to seeing all the info you are collecting and putting together - a true labour of love. Well done! ;D ;D

It sounds marvellous and I'm sure everyone here will be treating it as a second home.

This could catch on. Actually, it's pretty damn scary with nothing to do or see.

Didn't Yoko Ono bring out a book with no text? <---living dangerously Don't know about that - but she has released a LOT of music with no substance..... As far as I can tell, in 2002, the story entitled 4' 33" in Nemo 2 was the first actual blank story published in the world ... ever. Just as Nemo 1 was the world's first ever multi-authored anonymous anthology of stories designed as such.

Good luck with the site and the book, Johnny. The Pan books have been crying out for this kind of treatment for some time and I know from this board that the first book in the Stephen Jones & David Sutton edited Dark Voices series, intended as a 'Best of'-cum- tribute, didn't quite hit the mark. Will update the links to include the site later. Anyone who's waiting on a reply to a PM or email - sorry, once again, for the delay. I'll attempt to answer you over next few days, but I'd best catch up on here first ....
