I'll get some covers up as soon as I can. I need to install my scanner into my new computer first. The covers I have are a bit older I think than most of yours, going back to the 60s and early 70s. I'd stopped buying magazines like this by the 80s and I'm amazed, from the ones you have posted already, just how many there were. David That'll be great, David. I only started seeing these mags from the mid-eighties when I started submitting to them. All the above posted by me are free contributor copies, to my shame! And for each one, there can be several other editions of it that I've got contributor copies (but I'm only posting one mag per title). Hundreds to go yet! Also all the above are Horror orientated in some way; but I also have hundreds of other fiction contributor copies not to be shown by me here.

This is mostly to prove to myself I can work the scanner now. Rog has given me another crash course workshop. Lets hope my gold fish memory retains some of it

My new avaultar above.. Midnight In Hell #8 (1992) A wholly DFL special edition. Cover: Kerry Earl Some truly AMAZING internal artwork within this issue by Kerry Earl. This was a long-running mag run by George Houston. He has very recently brought it out again as a webbie: www.midnightinhell.com/============= People are saying this Small Press Cover Ark thread is even more breathtaking than the famous panning shot in 'Atonement'! ;D

Dread #12 (2000) As you can see from the cover, this mag lasted for three years and twelve issues. A nice 'un. Editor: Bill Hughes Cover: D.A. Kellough Contains work by Stefano Donati, Ambrose Bierce, Ken Goldman, Todd French and others. Dream #26 (1990) A Weller PublicationThis was a very long-running SF and Horror mag and it turned out to have some personal connection with me by hindsight. Its editors were George P Townsend and Trevor Jones, who I later learned were brothers. TJ was the owner, I think, and GT (his brother) was the editor. TJ died suddenly of an illness and that's when the mag finished (after briefly becoming New Moon magazine in the early nineties). I also learned in hindsight that GT's real name was Roger Jones whom I happened to know quite well in an offfice where I worked most of my life. He never let on to me during my time in that office who he was and that he was publishing my stuff! I still only know these facts by inference. There were also different names for reviewers and interviewers (one who interviewed me by post for DREAM) and I later learned these names were all Roger Jones (GT). Like Cthulhu Cultus on this thread above, each issue of DREAM had exactly the same anonymously-perpetrated cover (as above) just with different numbers and dates! This issue contains work by Keith Brooke (who lives round the corner from me), Dorothy Davies, David Gomm, Graham Andrews and others.

That Divine Rites cover looks very familiar. Does the mag contain anything by me, Des? Yes, with that batch of D mags I didn't pinpoint any contents nor looked for any. Upon your request, I have looked at that DIVINE RITES and there is B MOVIE GIRL, the preview, by its designer, Peter F Jeffery. This seems to be an article about the role-paying game you once invented called B MOVIE GIRL !!! Including advice: "Starting to Generate a Girl" and many other things associated with this!!! Crikey!!!
