I notice that Dr. Graces dates of birth and death are almost the same as that of M.R. James, and given their similar backgrounds in academia, I wonder if they knew each other. I'd wondered that too when I first stumbled on H.S. Grace's books. Although there's no evidence that M.R.J and H.S.G ever met, one mutual acquaintance was recorded as noting that Grace's ghost stories "tended to flatter Monty's works in the sincerest manner."

Day 24 Public Information broadcastChrissie Demant .... who better to hammer the final nail in the coffin than Vault's very own Mr. Christmas, Craig Herbertson, with a timely, if suspiciously gleeful reminder that what might seem like a good idea during a fierce, ecstasy-enhanced night on the piss, probably ...... isn't. A very enjoyable, if too short, finale to the Calendar. Thanks, Craig! Nice, punchy tale from Craig. I liked how the horrible truth was gradually revealed. Thank you. Awesome! I look forward to catching up with more of these. Today at lunchtime I read "Ingress," a wonderful little gem. I hope to be able to read more of the author's work someday...
cheers, H.

Thank you to everyone involved in this year's superb calendar. It has given me so much enjoyment over the past 24 days plus the daily anticipation of what was to come. The hard work put in by the authors, artists, Dem, Chrissie and everyone else is very much appreciated.
I would like to wish everyone a very happy and peaceful Christmas. Have a wonderful time!

Chrissie seems to have read my mind with the illustration. I even recognise the leer. Merry crimbles folks and remember alcohol is your gentle little friend.
