Hi altogether
I wonder if somebody is in the know of that.
I found on the German Wikipedia the information that William Castle's movie 13 GHOSTS from 1960 (and it's remake from 2001) is based on a short story by George Langelaan (the one who wrote the classic THE FLY for example).
But there is no way to find out which story that might be. And the International Movie Database (imdb) George Langelaan isn't even mentioned. There was once a collection of his stories entitled TREIZE FANTOMES (13 Ghosts) but no story with that title.
So is article in Wikipedia wrong? Does anybody know more about that?

As far as I can see the film is based on an original script by Robb White. I doubt that they'd have neglected crediting Langelaan if he'd been the source, and so I suspect the connection is based on a misunderstanding.
