Anne de Bollene - Voyage To Eros (Berkley Medallion, March 1962) In lieu of what passes for a "review" around here, I thought a quote would suffice for the present .... "It's now time for the final scene of a love affair that was the talk of the whole world for a long time." She turned around. Less casually than he would have liked, Salvador unfastened her brassiere. The elastic snapped musically. "Soft light!" ordered the star. Pablo turned a switch. The cabin was bathed in an orangish glow. Her skirt slipped down to the floor. She put one foot on the low table. The ice in the champagne bucket tinkled. Salvador cleared his throat. Viviane slowly slid her hands along her famous thighs, whose splendour had been imperfectly portrayed on countless posters. "That Cain is wonderful," she murmured. "My body has never been so well tuned as it's been on this strange ship ... What are you doing, Pablo?" "I'm undressing." "Dear Pablo, always so methodical. Once when I was in Texas my young lover pulled off his leather pants so violently that they flew out the window of the ranch house!" "I have a more efficient kind of violence!" He took hold of her so abruptly that she did not have time to take her foot off the table. The silence of the cabin was broken by the sound of ripping nylon. "Bravo, Pablo!" said Viviane, imagining herself at a bullfight in Madrid. The producer's hands, motionless but electric, had just imprisoned her breasts. Her whole body was shaken by a powerful jolt- She did not know whether to gasp or moan. "Please, Pablo!" she panted. "This is indecent!" "No, it's our final scene," he said
