Brian Hodge - Nightlife (Pan 1993)(Dem, feel free to move this if it's in the wrong place, as the pan section seems to be for their anthologies, I put this here) A late Pan Horror, but this one sounds like it could have been a Hamlyn (especially the bits I couldn't resist having a quick read of)

Read this last year. Fun story about a reformed low-level drug dealer and his new girlfriend getting on the bad side a big time drug dealer who has got his hands on a mind and body warping hallucinogenic. Throw in a tank full of piranha, a murder, and a Yanomamo warrior seeking revenge for the slaughter of his tribe when the drug was stolen from them and things gets pretty bloody.
