The Coffin Things by Michael Avallone Easy Eye Press 1968Presented here for the delectation of the Vault, my very first attempt at posting an image (and what an image): Yes it's Easy on the Eye Publishing's modern classic of terror and evil in really big print. You'll be pleased to learn that the young lady on the cover is a 'professional model', or so it says on the back. In fact, here it is: Ok so it's not that clear but I'm sure you'll all be delighted to see that as well as having REALLY BIG PRINT the book is complete and unabridged. Plot synopsis and amused & bemused review doubtless to follow soon.

Can I be the first to congratulate you on your first uploaded image Lord P. and as an ex teacher I'm prepared to offer you a gold star for selection, and a promise that I will definitely put it on my desk at home.

I swear I've seen this cover on another book - a Len Deighton espionage novel perhaps - I'll have to investigate...

a glorious start to your image posting career, lord p! if The Coffin Things is half as good as Avallone's The Partridge Family novels then you are in for a treat is all i can say. Michael's son, David, got in touch last year and it seems he was working on a revamped version of his late father's Boris Karloff's Tales Of The Frightened with Vernon Wells (Mad Max: The Road Warrior/Commando/etc.) doing the narration.
