if the prospect of steamy sex sessions with rotting corpses (or death-breathed vampires) doesn't work for you, why not try ... Tracie Sommers - Tonight My Love (Harlequin Spice Briefs, 2009) Blurb "Tonight, my love, the choice is yours," Andrew Campbell tells Isabelle as they ride through the streets of Whitechapel to select a prostitute to join them in bed. Her choice: Franny, a pretty young girl hesitant to go with the genteel couple with Jack the Ripper on the loose.
Yet the lure of money and food is too strong for Franny. Before long, she is in their bed...with Andrew and Isabelle fulfilling their promise to take Franny to the height of sexual ecstasy.
But once their pleasure is complete, Andrew and Isabelle have another surprise in store for her.... "when I got the idea of giving the Jack the Ripper story a sexy paranormal twist, I knew it was going to cause some controversy" writes Tracie Sommers on the Harlequin Paranormal Romance blog. " .... it all slides south rather quickly with the ending, which is so repulsive that I’m sorry I read this story on my lunch break. Part of me admires Sommers (a self-described “dark erotic fantasy” writer) for taking such a huge risk, and the other part of me is just plain disgusted" advises Wendy The Super Librarian in her otherwise complimentary review of Tracie's "sexy" contribution to the Ripper industry.

Once again Dem I think the efforts of the Vault to document each and every paperback with any kind of pulp link whatsoever need to be applauded. Selfless dedication to the cause, my friend. Is it any good?

Here is an Amazon customer review: First, I will say that Tracie Sommers writes the most appealing anal sex, and threesome scenes I've ever read.
But the ending put me off a bit. The entire story was hot, full of action, wonderfully descriptive, and it was a good read. I was expecting the man to be Jack the Ripper, being that he was mentioned a few times in the beginning. Turns out, the story takes a whole 180, and I begin to think the couple are actually vampires because they mention 'hundreds of years' and things of that sort. Wrong again - they're actually demons from Hell who devour their threesome partner at the end. Thinking they were vampires for most of the story, I thought they'd make her a vampire, too, and they'd go around for the rest of eternity having threesomes. Turns out, THEY'RE spreading rumors of Jack the Ripper, when really they're the one killing the whores. Talk about a twist ending! In the end, you see them in either Las Vegas, or California (I don't remember) going after the street walkers.
A very interesting ending, but I'm not sure it fit too well. It didn't seem to fit the scene of the entire story for me.

Selfless dedication to the cause, my friend. Is it any good? er, i'm afraid i don't actually own a copy .... Here is an Amazon customer review: First, I will say that Tracie Sommers writes the most appealing anal sex, and threesome scenes I've ever read.
... yet. Tonight My Love is one (of several!) to catch my eye while trawling the paranormal romance sites, something i do quite regularly as i find Wendy, Fantasy Book Luvr & Co.'s enthusiasm for their subject genuinely uplifting. all that's prevented me from delving deeper is the prospect of landing myself with yet another addiction to feed when there are still hundreds of horror, ghost, smut and mens adventure titles on my wants list.

Actually some of the things mentioned in this thread sounded quite appealing, but I'm not saying which. I couldn't believe it the other day when I called at the bookstall in the market and found myself staring at something called Mills and Boon Nocturne. It was bad enough when they intruded Vampire Diaries in amongst the horror section but that made me have to go and spend an hour in Forbidden Planet among the graphic novels. And that gets expensive. I may sue somebody. Or invite them for a threesome.
