Robert McGinnis always produced top-notch work for the Carter Brown books published by Signet. Here are a few examples:

Thanks for posting these, Sev. Always a pleasure to be reminded of the McGinnis Carter Browns. One more series that used to be a fixture of the second-hand market but which, like everything else, has now all but disappeared.
McGinnis is revered - and rightly so - but are you at all familiar with the work of Barbara Walton? I know next to nothing about her personally, apart from the fact that she and her sister Eileen produced literally hundreds of covers for Robert Hale especially, and Collins also, over a period of more than forty years. A lot of it was dictated by the subject matter and so necessarily generic, but when she was inspired she was capable of producing GGA that was, in my opinion, every bit as good as McGinnis. She appears to have been particularly inspired by John D Macdonald and Berkeley Gray and the smashing sexy cover art she contributed to their books adds a real premium to their value. And yet, unlike McGinnis, she has no cachet in her own right. Sexism? Probably. Scandalous? Certainly.

You could buy him in bundles, but he is becoming unknown fast. I have a soft spot for him. Some of his series I devoured, especially the Rick Holman books.
I bought the McGinnis hardcover from Titans a few years ago. Wonderful book. His woman may be a fantasy, but sexism? No.

John McPartland (1911-1958) was another author from the seemingly endless Gold Medal production line in the fifties, pretty much unknown now but very much under-rated and reminds me of Charles Williams and John D. MacDonald. He was only 47 when he suffered a heart attack. Two of his Gold Medals qualify for this thread: The Last Night - 1959 Rather annoyingly the cover art for both of them is uncredited.

More Australian class, this time from 1972: Uni Sex: A Study of Sexual Attitudes and Behaviour at Australian Universities (Eclipse, 1972) Why are Australian university students so keen on obscenity? Why do student health centres offer them "morning after" pills? Why do 10% of female uni students get pregnant anyway? What makes med students kinky? And what happens when you throw a six at a teachers' orgy? These and all the other questions you have always wanted to ask about the sexual attitudes and behaviour of Australian university students are here aired and often answered.

Lurvely James. Something for everyone. Generous!
I have no idea what "throwing a six" at an orgy means... sounds naughty!

A friend sent me a snapshot of a page from an eminent British newspaper bearing the headline (printed in an enormous font): TYCOON MOANS: I'VE GOT 10,000 SEX ARSES STUCK AT CALAIS!
Apparently a sex arse is a home medical aide of a certain style... unfortunately, I am unable to post images on this forum. (But maybe that's a good thing.)
