I'm ashamed to admit I've not sampled any of these yet. Are there three volumes out now, or is it four? And has anyone done a review of the series so far? I wondered how they compare with each other.

Unless i'm missing something, there have been three so far, number one is the largest at 300 pages (two and three have 200). Your first port of call should be the Black Book site at Mortbury Press For more reviews, cover/ contents, comment and stuff on here, have a look in the Eighties, Nineties, Noughties: Big Fat Books section - that should give you plenty to go on.

Definitely read them, Peter - they're excellent! Charles will even sign them for you if you ask him nicely, I bet ... ;D ;D

Thanks for the kind words, Dem, Caroline, Benedict.
Books 4 & 5 will be released this year. I'm not ready to announce the contents of the books yet but I will reveal that 4 has a mix of regulars and new contributors to the series.
And 5 will be the Pan author special including stories by David and Craig, and a pair of specially written stories by two very big Pan enthusiasts.
I'm some way off completing everything for 4, but the cover will be unveiled soon. Very soon.
