Mortbury Press has very kindly leaked me the contents list for The 3rd Black Book of Horror. No cover as of yet - but I have been assured that we won't have seen a cover like this one for a long, long time!
[glow=red,2,300]CONTENTS[/glow]
THE SCAVENGER - Rog Pile TAKASHI’S LAST SYMPHONY - Gary McMahon A SENSE OF MOVEMENT - David A. Riley LAST NIGHT - Joel Lane WIDOW’S WEEDS - Paul Newman OUT OF HER HEAD - Christine Mortimer FAMILY TIES - Steve Lockley & Paul Lewis DEATH-CON 1 - Sean Parker LIKE A BIRD - Mike Chinn THE SPOON - John Mains THE LAKE - Franklin Marsh SYNCHRONICITY - Craig Herbertson IN THE THICKET - Paul Finch JOHN & JENNY AND THE LUMP: A CAUTIONARY TALE - John Llewellyn Probert IN AN OLD OVERCOAT - Frank Nicholas THE LOOKER - Julia Lufford WHAT WE CANNOT RECALL - Gary Fry
And - may I be slightly chuffed in saying one of my stories is being published in the same volume as David A Riley and Craig Herbertson! I'm was a bit stunned...
Then as soon as I recovered - Rog Pile, John Probert and Franklin Marsh come and give me the triple punch!
One of the best days of my life. Charles Black - I LOVE YOU!!!

I must be getting soft in my old age but I confess to being extremely moved. I can assure you, Johnnie, that my sentiments on seeing the names up there are somewhat similar.
I'll say it again: this anthology is absolutely the one to watch and I'd buy up copies now while you can. I'm enormously proud to be a contributer and having read nos. one and two three times each I can hardly wait.

I've got to agree with everyone so far. Charles had done an amazing job with these collections and I am more than just proud to have been included in them. That is some line-up!
I am intrgued over the latest cover, which I am informed Charles is keeping under wraps as a surprise. Considering just how remarkably brilliant the previous ones were, that whets my appetite.

That looks like a cracking line-up and I've got to say I'm hugely pleased to have made it into volume three. I've read Gary McMahon's story in draft form and it's an absolute corker - everyone will love it. Or they should. And if they don't they may end up in my next story

Oh my God. That's left me speechless. What an absolutely beautiful, outrageous, decadent piece of work. Just what the genre needs.

Oooh! Now that's lovely.
I was impressed by the outstanding table of contents.
Now I'm struck dumb by the cover art.
Congratulations to all the people involved in this book - the previous two were fantastic - I hope TBBOH wins the BFS award - and this is another 'must have'.

Nice one! Is that a Paul Mudie cover too?
When's the book going to be ready for pre-orders, Charles?
