Breaking news from Bookgasm states that Donald F. Glut's 'New Adventures of Frankenstein' novels are to be reissued by Pulp 2.0 Press.
The publisher plans to reissue all of them in collector’s editions, loaded with extras.

Now this is interesting.
I have some of the reprints/first american edition in magazine form, done by Druktenis Publishing.
I can´t speak for the first numbers, which I didn´t buy again, but the later books were "actualized" by Glut, as he tried to bring the story more in sync with our time. No major revisions, just a bit of tinkering.
Still, a whole reprint would be nice, as there are ten novels and a short-story collection.

"It's probably not difficult to guess that the stories were intentionally campy and not to be taken too seriously, and that I had a great time writing them." - Donald Glut to Ace reporter Franklin Marsh on Vault Mk 1.Delighted to hear they'll be back in print. Dr. Burt 'Boring' Winslow and lingerie Lynn Powell are surely among Vault's all-time most admired/ lusted after couples. i always thought it was a shame that NEL/ MEWS stopped on #6 in the series for some reason (same with Robert E. Lory's Dracula Returns and the 'Chill' books), and the US editions always eluded me. Count Karnstein's Creation, reprinted in Michel Parry's The Rivals of Frankenstein (Corgi, 1977) is an absolute gem, suggesting the short story collection is as must have as the novels.

I always liked the books (though I read only 2) and when I found out they were out of print and would have cost me a small fortune on ebay to get them all as books I contacted Don and got the ball rolling. In this digital day and age there is no good reason for books to fall out of print. That's how I became their new publisher. I understand and even admire what Druktenis did with his magazine version, but to me these need to be seen and read as books. I hope you've had the chance to see the first books cover by Mark Maddox www.maddoxplanet.com I hope you all will be pleased with what we are doing. I'd also like to republish Lory's DRACULA series but the rights are tied to another publisher. Drat!
