J. Hurwood) Elliott O'Donnell - The Case of Ivan of Shiganska Back cover blurb: Enter the dark dominion of the shape changers and the blood drinkers with Eight Terrifying Tales Of Vampires And Werewolves
"My son, I must warn you that you are standing on the brink of an abyss; beware lest you fall into it. Satan's claws are long, and the grave is not always trustworthy. Clarimonde's tomb should be sealed with a triple seal, for this is not the first time she has died. May God watch over you!" —from The Dead Leman Yep, it's good old C. Lee, hating playing Dracula again. Warms your heart. The Dark Dominion is a follow up to The Dark Shadows Book Of Vampires & Werewolves which makes you wonder why they didn't just call it volume II and stick another still from Dark Shadows on the cover, nice and uniform, although i guess Quentin's extraordinary facial expression on the cover of the first book - what was all that about? - probably frightened off many a potential customer. Fig A: Your Pretty Face Has Gone To Hell. Quentin comes over all unfortunate on the cover of Dark Shadows Book Of Vampires & Werewolves Again, it looks as though Bernardt J. Hurwood's involvement extends further than his translation credit as both anthologies have a decidedly slimline Monsters Galore feel to them.
